French dressing is a classic and this plant-based version won’t disappoint.


  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup no salt ketchup
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tbsp celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp liquid smoke (flavoring)
  • 2 tbsps chives (minced fresh)


  1. In a food processor, combine maple syrup, ketchup, garlic, vinegar, hot sauce, celery seed, liquid smoke and chives.
  2. Cover and shake well. Refrigerate until serving.
