Top 10 Reasons I Eat Whole, Plant Based Foods

I bet David Letterman never had a ‘Top 10’ list like this!

In late 2012, I jumped all over this way of eating a whole foods, plant based diet, and I’m proud to confidently tell you some of the reasons why. There are so many other reasons, and even more benefits to this amazing lifestyle. If you want to learn more, you should read this.

10.  I’d rather give my money to local, organic farmers and small plant-based food organizations and co-ops.

9.  To contribute what I can toward improving the health of our environment.

8.  Discovering new foods and ways to use them is awesome!

7.  I don’t think about calories or regret anything I eat.

6.  Eating whole, plant-based food keeps my weight down and my tastebuds alive.

5.  I love being able to eat lots and lots of food throughout the day without feeling sluggish or bloated.

4.  To keep my brain and body cells firing on all cylinders.

3.  To keep my immune system really, really strong. (I haven’t had so much as a sniffle in over 3 years!)

2.  This is the only body I’ll ever have…not relying on the afterlife!
