The Zagat-rated restaurant location is a fairly modern and pretty environment, albeit under the train tracks. There’s a lot of light colored wood and comfortable seating.
Lucky for us, we had the same server on both our visits. Chris helped me choose a great wine, and guided me to diet-suitable menu items. We had the quinoa salad both times, as well as the spring rolls. Each dish was slightly different the second time, but equally as delicious. He also brought me beautifully steamed cauliflower (normally pretty bland and boring). The chef seemed to be able to get a char on it, then doused it in vegan fish sauce. The sauce was soooo good, I asked for the recipe, knowing full well, it was probably proprietary; and I was right!
No matter, we’ll be back.
